3.4 In which cases can we pass on your data to third parties?

a. Principle

We may need to use the services of third parties or affiliated companies and commission them to process your data (so-called processors). The categories of recipients are as follows:

  • Accounting, fiduciary and auditing company;
  • Consulting companies (legal advice, taxes, etc.);

3.5 How long do we store your data?

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the individual purposes for which the data was collected.

Data that we store when you visit our website is stored for twelve months. An exception applies to analysis and tracking data, which may be stored for longer.

We store contract data for longer, as we are obliged to do so by law. In particular, we must retain business communications, concluded contracts and accounting documents for up to 10 years. If we no longer need such data from you to perform the services, the data will be blocked and we will only use it for accounting and tax purposes.

We will keep your data secure and take all reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, access, misuse or alteration.

We may restrict or refuse to provide information or data if this conflicts with our legal obligations, our own legitimate interests, public interests or the interests of a third party.

The processing of your request is subject to the statutory processing period of 30 days. However, we may extend this period due to a high volume of requests, for legal or technical reasons or because we require more detailed information from you. You will be informed of the extension in good time, at least in text form.

b. Erasure and rectification

You have the option of requesting the deletion or correction of your data at any time. We may reject the request if statutory provisions oblige us to retain your data for a longer period or to retain it unchanged, or if your request conflicts with a legal permission.

Please note that exercising your rights may conflict with contractual agreements and may have a corresponding impact on the performance of the contract (e.g. premature termination of the contract or cost consequences).

4.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files

What information do we receive and how do we use it?

How can you prevent data collection?

The data is only stored for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Accordingly, the data is deleted at the end of each session. The storage of log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website; you therefore have no option to object to this.

4.6 Google Tag Manager for WordPress

On our website we use the plugin "Google Tag Manager for WordPress", which enables the integration of Google Tag Manager, a service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"), into our WordPress-based website. This plugin allows us to manage and integrate various scripts and codes via a central interface.

4.7 Linkedin Insight Tag

We have integrated the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our website, a tool from LinkedIn, a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn").

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables us to collect information about visitors to our website, in particular about the types of LinkedIn features that visitors to our website use and how they interact with these features. This tool helps us to create targeted ads within the LinkedIn platform and to measure the effectiveness of these ads.

By using the LinkedIn Insight Tag, cookies are set on your device that enable the collection of pseudonymized data, such as the URL of the page visited, the referrer URL, IP address (in abbreviated form), device and browser characteristics and timestamps.

The data collected by the LinkedIn Insight Tag is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not receive any personal data about individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by LinkedIn so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

If you are a member of LinkedIn and are logged into your LinkedIn account while visiting our website, the data collected by the LinkedIn Insight Tag will be linked to your LinkedIn account.

The purpose of using the LinkedIn Insight Tag is to analyze and optimize the effectiveness of our advertising measures. Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising and analyzing the impact and efficiency of this advertising.

4.9 Google My Business

4.10 Meta Chat Plugin

Our website integrates the Meta Chat plugin, a communication tool from Meta Platforms, Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (formerly known as Facebook, Inc.). The Meta Chat plugin allows visitors to our website to contact us directly via a chat window provided by Meta.

When you use the chat plugin, certain data, such as your Meta ID, the content of your messages, the date and time of communication and technical information about your device and browser, is transmitted to Meta and processed there. 4.11 Google Fonts API

On our website, we use the Google Fonts API, a service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"), to integrate fonts. By integrating these fonts, your browser will establish a connection to Google's servers when you visit our website in order to download and correctly display the fonts.

4.14 YouTube

4.15 WordPress

Our website is based on the WordPress platform, a content management system developed by Automattic Inc, 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. WordPress enables us to create, manage and publish content.

When you use our website, which is based on WordPress, various data, including your IP address, the date and time of access and information about the browser you are using, may be collected and stored. 4.16 Google reCaptcha

We use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google") to protect against unwanted requests via the Internet form on our website. The query is used to distinguish whether the input is made by a human or abusively by automated, machine processing. As part of the query, information such as your IP address or the behavior when filling out the form may be transmitted to Google.

For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and processed there. By using reCAPTCHA, you consent to the recognition you have provided being incorporated into the digitization of old works. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyze your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other Google data.
